日本では第４７回日本口腔インプラント学会学術大会が開催されています。

大会ロゴとポスターをデザインさせていただいているので、参加したかったのですが、オランダにいるため残念ながら参加できません。

代わりということではありませんが、マーストリヒトでは調度Nobel Biocare のシンポジウムが開催されているので参加しています。

会場はマーストリヒト大学病院のすぐそばにある、MECCという総合イベント会場です。

マーストリヒトにいる自分には絶好のロケーションです。

参加しない手はありません。

２０１７年９月２１日が初日でした。

初日はハンズオンセミナー（Hands-on）とマスターコースレクチャーで構成されています。

ハンズオンセミナーは満員で予約できませんでしたが、マスターコースは席を確保できました。

⒉　 Dr. Iñaki Gamborenaによるマスターコース

Dr. Iñaki Gamborena

・1989年にドミニカ歯科大学を卒業後
・米国・メキシコの大学、研修施設で咬合・保存修復・補綴・インプラント治療を修得
・現在はスペイン・サンセバスチャンにて開業
・ワシントン大学客員教授
・ペンシルバニア大学・ジョージア医科大学臨床助教
・世界各国で講演活動や執筆を行っており、審美領域の治療において世界中から高い注目を集めている

Dr. Iñaki Gamborenaの講義では、前歯部のインプラント治療における垂直的なボリュームの確保に関するレクチャーが行われました。

面白かった点は、骨増生にフォーカスするのではなく軟組織増生に注力するという点です。

インプランント治療も、骨増生も、勿論手段の一つですし引き出しには持っているが、それらに頼り着るのではないというスタンスのようです。

軟組織造成を自分の武器にすれば、さらなる可能性が広がります。
